Default 09 ds gas cart

Have a 09 ds gas cart. The problem with the cart is that when in use it often staggers like it wants to shut down but gradually gets up. Ack running fine. I checked the rpm limiter it does the same problem. Changed the coil n it still does the same problem. Cleaned the carborator and changed the fuel pump but cart still gives same problem. Any solutions to this problem?

Changed fuel filters as well as a new spark plug. Dont you think if it was the air filter it would have had the problem from the begining.

Usually when this occurs its because of spark break-up or trash in the fuel system... try running it with a spark tester and see how spark looks when it starts acting up...if spark is fine I would lean more towards a fuel related or carb issue...

Sounds like a fuel issue to me. Carb i would check again or just replace depending on price.

Before deciding to replace carb( if going that route) try jetting it first...run an extremely small drill bit through main jet just a hair bigger than it already is...it doesn't cost more than a tiny drill bit and sometimes makes a big difference...

You have the symptom of a leak in the air intake line!

Could always spray some starting fluid around intake to check for intake leak. Just be careful with it.

Not a bad idea!
But, carb cleaner will do the same thing... and safer!
The RPM's will drop (rather then rise) if there's an air leak in the air box, intake tube, or carb gaskets!
