measured the Temp sensor resistance at the connector going into the motor an got 594 ohms......

Motor temp sensor range = More than 400 ohm, and less than 1300 ohm.

Looks like the temp sensor is within the range. So looks like on the RXV you have to do a process of elimination if you do not have the diagnostic programmer. Is there a way I can jumper past the controller to test out the motor briefly (with the wheels jacked up of course). I saw some previous threads where this was done but it was not clear if it was this controller or AC motor

I have a 2009 ezgo rxv and stopped on me same way. Just foward reverse 1 mph.
Did you find a resister value that would work or bypass?Just wondering. I would try it. Thanks Bill |

Before going too far--- you might get a reputable shop to plug a hand held scanner and see what is going on.
Usually not too expensive. |

Yes was the motor temp senser in the bearing.

No Motor temp sensor is in motor windings.
There is a bearing that is part of the motor tach. Best bet at this point is GET THE ERROR CODE. Must have handheld scanner. or 2Five dash panel . Until we get a code ... all we are giving you are WAG's. |

ezgo part number 612595 bearing with 2 wires coming out of it
That fixed it. Had to take motor apart pres bearing on.Fixed now and runs fine. |
