Re: Hooked up new components and got 4th of July
Wanted to let you guys know I got to put the new setup to the test yesterday and am amazed at the power. I took it to the mountains where we have a very steep driveway. The old setup (36 volts and 400 amp controller) could not get up it with two people and would barely pull it with just me on a full charge. Now I have to slow down at the top to make the turn. Haven't been able to get a good gps speed reeding because all the roads here have huge trees overhanging but feels as fast as I want to go in a golf cart. Thanks again to Yurtle, Scotty and Johnny for helping diagnose the problem! You guys are great!

The exact diodes Scotty uses are available at RadioShack for 1.99 per two pack. I used the same ones under the hood of my Envoy to do some wiring trickery and turn my high beams from just the two high beam bulbs to all six forward facing lights. (highs, lows, and fogs)
