Default 1996 EZGO gas cost cart troubleshooting issue

I have a EZGO GXT -804D gas golf cart. I changed oil, air filter, spark plugs and replaced battery. Now, it will not move. Motor runs, pulleys turn but clutch/belt will not engage. Can someone help?

Drive Clutch should Close as you apply power & Driven clutch should open Up. Drive clutch is the one on the engine & driven clutch is on the rear. If these are not working then the belt will not tighten & you Won't Move

Was it running perfectly fine before you did the tune up?

Yes, was running fine. The battery needed to be changed so I went ahead and changed oil/spark plugs/fuel filter.

Welcome to BGW

Is the drive clutch/one on the motor--- is it moving in and out when you race up the motor? did you get any oil on the belt or clutch??

Push the drive clutch (the one on the engine ) in with your hand it should go in with a little resistance my best guess is that you jarred or cocked it when changing the oil most times you give it a push and it will unstick itself

No, clutch is not moving in or out. It just spins.

I will try this method. Sounds simple enough.
