To clarify, the seat lock I saw was home-made.

If you have a DCS or PDS, I saw a suggestion to put a key switch on the run/tow switch.

Make sure it's "uniquely keyed". Not the cheapest way, but it's truly plug and play.

I thought it was on ezgo web site. I looked there everywhere.

I see a thread on this forum that shows a custom pade lock using a garage door lock, but I was hopping for something with a key.

A key switch on rub/tow switch is a great idea. Would that be just like a two position ignition?

Plug and play is good.

I can't recall, but I thought it used a linear actuator or solenoid. Maybe the "inventor" will chime in.

If you can get the EZ-GO for the price listed, that would be all you need, but for the run/tow, just a spdt switch, like you used to see on old PCs would work.

Found this:

3rd photo on post #23 is the one I remember.

Somewhere there are more details, but it uses a solenoid (proper use of the term).

why don't you try and actually like push button.. Simply hide it somewhere else on the cart and keep the original key switch and fake it so it looks actually legit. Hide the button somewhere behind the steering wheel or behind the gas or a unique spot under the floorboard that only you know of and is not visible to anyone else?
