I'm not sure if the batteries pictured are Deep-Cycle. Marine or SLI, but if they are Deep-Cycle, the cart will actually have more range than 6 X 6V-260AH.

12V cart batteries are in the 140AH to 150AH range and putting two in parallel doubles the AH, so with six of them connected in series/parallel, you get a 280AH to 300AH 36V pack.

Column on the far right of attached list tells the tale.

Yes, but these batts dont look like T1275s (150ah). Look smaller to me (stock tray size? Not 1275s). And i have seen marine "deep cycle" batts in gems, they lasted about 1.5 years.

I don't know what they are either and can't tell if the battery frame has been modified, so what I posted may not apply.

Charging/balancing a series/parallel arrangement for 36V is iffy at best.

If I was going to stuff six 12V deep cycle batteries under the seat, it would be a 72V system.

Well I feel better knowing my head wasn't the only one aching.

BTW the white looking cable under the red is actually a faded red cable. It's not the white charging cable. I am in the process of manually charging each battery to get them back up to 12v. Then I will rewire it into two 36v banks and see what happens.

Just out of curiosity, what is the Make/Model of the batteries?
