But check your wires before you order anything.. Some of your wires may already be 4 gauge.

Scottyb is like a crack dealer! LOL He will sell you the controller (your rock) then you need to buy the pipe (cables) to enjoy it. In the long run, it really is worth it.

It is a 2007 cart, so the open ends of the copper conductors in the crimped on terminals have been exposed to the acid laden air in the battery vicinity for seven or more years and most likely all of the high current cables need to be replaced.

Believing that overkill is underrated, my first upgrade was replacing the OEM cables on my 2008 PDS four days after I acquired in 2011, with 2Ga cables with silver soldered, air tight, terminal lugs. I had to add another 2Ga cable when I went to 42V, but other than that, I'm still running the same cables and they barely get warm no matter how hard I push an 11.8 HP motor with a 500A controller.

I'm going to pimp for Scotty, 2 gauge cables are only about $50 bucks more, Get them if you can.
I've run 2 gauge on all 4 of my carts, it may be overkill but my carts have always run great. And no I didn't buy them from Scotty, I built them myself

I just check his website, they are only $30 more.

Also, if upping the battery pack voltage to 42 or 48V at a future date is a possibility, get the Super-Duty solenoid (400A Continuous/1000A Peak)rather than the Heavy-Duty solenoid (200A Continuous/800A Peak). The HD solenoid is pack voltage specific while the SD works at 36V, 42V and 48V, so it doesn't have to be replaced when you up the pack voltage.

I ordered the Pkg. #808
400amp Alltrax (DCX400PDS) 36 - 48v programmable
200a continuous/800a peak Solenoid in 36 or 48 volt
and the Kit #10 = Ezgo PDS & DCS Complete 10pc set
Complete 4 gauge from http://www.cartsunlimited.net/Home_Page.html. What a difference.
Thanks Scotty!
