9ft give or take a few inches overall length. But as long as the wheels are on you don't have to worry about what's hanging over. I take the lift gate off mine and use ramps that I can throw in the back of the truck

Gotcha. I'll be hauling this behind my 38' RV to take it to Fort Wilderness. Looks like I just need a 10ft trailer.

My footrest folds up and I only have 1 1/2 to 2" left in a 8 ft trailer.

I think a 4x8 would be too tight.

I have just enough room side to side with my 5x8 to comfortably back my cart onto the trailer. I'd say around 6" on either side give or take.

BlueandWhiteRV,

I also have a 5X8 and I have to remove the rear seat step to get it in the trailer. I have the MadJax 300 and even with the step folded up, I can't get the tail gate closed.

NCPW mentioned backing the cart into the trailer, this is definitely the right thing to do. Makes the tongue weight right for me, and the trailer tracks much better.

Backing a cart onto the trailer does shift the center of gravity towards the tongue but windshields have been blown out that way. Take care.

I take my windshield off if I am towing on the highway. Even with the cart facing forward it looks as if it is going to break apart over 50 mph IMO.

I would run a 5 or 6x10' trailer and like others remove the windshield . For as loading backwards I would be cautious because I have heard and seen seat flying off at speeds over 55mph, I'm sure you could strap them down. I just sold my 6x10' because my CC Precedent stretched limo is 13' long, so I now have a 6x14' trailer.

The cart fits onto the UHaul 4x9 trailer. I didn't have to remove the floor board for the rear seat.
