Soldering the ends is easy, I use a propane torch to heat up end then feed some silver solder, just let it wick in. I just pull back the cable lining about 3/4 inch and hold it with a vise grip. You can work all the cable the same time just going jumping end to end. It takes about 2 minutes per end to solder.
