Re: Trojan Lithium?
Wow ... the first major lead acid battery manufacturer to introduce a lithium battery (to my knowledge anyway). The gauntlet has been thrown down
The 110 Ah batteries catch my eye ... with a 300 amp continuous discharge rating and 400 am for 30 seconds peak rating. I wonder if they will accept my 4 month old T125's on trade |

Re: Trojan Lithium?
I talked to my Orlando Trojan dealer and he actually received an email today about them (dealer always last to know). He said that the release is supposed to be in Jan 2019. Pricing may be available in December, but nothing yet. Nice that each battery has it's own BMS and voltmeter right on top.
I think the 110AH are perfect choice for big motor and controller. For most stock or mild mods, the 92AH would probably be a great choice. ThreeCW: Thanks for posting those files on the Trillium. I downloaded those yesterday. My dealer here would give you $21 credit each for 6 or 8V cores and $26 for 12V cores. |

Re: Trojan Lithium?
Some info from the Trojan website:
"Trillium is designed to be a true replacement for lead-acid batteries and can be used with existing lead-acid chargers with AGM/GEL settings (IE)." I phoned my "dealer" today ... he is checking on pricing, so I won't be surprised if he can't come up with pricing right away. Price point will certainly be interesting and I hope that they will be competitive with the lithium battery options that are being offered on new golf carts (hint to any Trojan marketing reps who might be lurking). Price them right and you will conquer the market. Price them high and the they will just be another lithium battery that are out of reach for many consumers. |

Re: Trojan Lithium?
The web site and brochure say "Made in the USA" but the data sheets say "Designed in the USA" ... I am sure that Trojan will catch that error soon. Not surprised as Trojan must be having them built by someone with existing lithium technology.

Re: Trojan Lithium?
Anybody taking bets on pricing.
I am placing my wager on $750 each for the 92 AH. Anything above that price point and they won't sell. Anything below that and they would sell like hot cakes! I would have gone that route if they had been under $750 each for 92 AH. |

Also, the rating system for FLA batteries is down right criminal in the deception of usable energy. |
