08 precedent solenoid won’t engage
Car won’t move. I do not get voltage on solenoid coil. Checked key switch it is good. I get all input voltages on the controller. If I put 48 volts on solenoid it will pull in. What to check next?

Re: 08 precedent solenoid won’t engage
Sounds like the controller if you are getting all the imputs to it...
Pin #6 - Green Wire (pedal microswitch) +48v once You press the pedal. pin #5 - Light Blue wire (OBC lockout) +48v. Pin #10 - Tan Wire (key switch) +48v once Key switch is ON Pin #9 - Gray wire (RUN Mode) +48v if tow/run switch is on Run Pin #16 - Blue (Forward direction) +48v when FNR is on Forward. Pin #2 - Yellow (MCOR wiper) Pedal up to pedal down should go from 0.35v to 4.65v (approximately) The controller supplies the negative to the small terminal (blue/white) on the solenoid to close it.. Put your voltmeters black lead on the blue/white stripe wire on the solenoid small terminal and the red lead on the main pack positive. Key on in forward go pedal pressed you should get pack voltage. If you don't the the controller is bad.. Also check the 15a fuse near the controller... |

Re: 08 precedent solenoid won’t engage
I put charger on overnight. Solenoid is now engaging car won’t move. All voltages going into controller are good. Is it the controller or the motor?

Re: 08 precedent solenoid won’t engage
Pack voltage is 50v and holds when pressing the accelerator.
What voltages should I get at the motor? |

Try pushing the cart a few feet and try it again. If it works you have bad brush contact.
