What do you guys think ... go ahead and install it before I replace the MCOR? Might be a couple of weeks before I can get a new MCOR.
David should have them in stock...

With the batteries connected, key switch Off, Tow/Run switch in Run; place the black (–) probe on packs main Negative post and the red (+) probe on the yellow wire at the 3-pin connector near the MCOR. (The reading should be approximately ~0.32vdc to ~0.5vdc with the pedal up). Slowly press the Go Pedal and the readings should increase until it reaches ~4.65vdc or more when the pedal is fully pressed. (Anything less than 4.60vdc and you are not reaching full throttle). If the reading is erratic or jumps all over the place it is a bad MCOR potentiometer..... Get one here https://www.revolutiongolfcars.com/mcors

That's my plan "B". Cart is still under warranty, so once he gets them in, it should be a freebie fix.

So decided to go ahead with my Alltrax upgrade and then replace the MCOR after the install was complete. After install of the new Alltrax, the throttle is working perfectly - it no longer drops to low speed after pushing accelerator to the floor ...strange.

Maybe just flakey...but it was a hard error prior to the install.

Oh well, I’ll just enjoy the Alltrax and keep an eye on the MCOR.

The Alltrax controller has an 'auto calc' feature for the throttle. It learns the throttle output and establishes a 0-100 based on that output. You may be okay for a while and won't need a new MCOR after all.
