Default What Motor to Buy?

I am in the market for a new motor on a 48V 2010 Precedent Excel. I have a #2 package from Revolution (400amp Alltrax & HD Solenoid). I need torque for hills but i do not want to sacrifice going less than 25 mph.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Talk to David at Revolution Golf Cars. You've dealt with him already and he'll tell you exactly what you want to know.

People forget the new XCT48400 control matches the old DCX500 output in a 5 minute test. When the XCT and SR controllers first came out Alltrax recommended everyone could use one size smaller control. But the bigger is better belief prevails.
I would choose the Admiral B2. It will make about 3 times the HP as the stock motor with the same speed. And the Alltrax 400 with 460 peak output is quite capable to run the motor fine with a fan kit. 2g cable set suggested. and SW180 type solenoid, not a (delete) round solenoid with side posts as we often still see.

I hope this helps

On EV Drives website it clearly states that you need a 500 or 600amp controller for the AMD 7144.

I have the XCT400. Thoughts?
