Can you narrow down the year of this DS?
Hello! I have had EZGOs but got this Club Car DS today for what I felt was a good price. It runs but does need new batteries, but I already have them - so it should be humming along just fine here soon. However, I am curious on the year. He thought it was a 1996 - but I am fairly confident that its older. I think 1991/1992. There is no serial plate, just holes remaining where it once was. I don't know much about Club Car, so I don't know if there is another place a serial might be, but at least the easy one is missing! So - any ideas what age she might be!?

Judging by the steering wheel and bumper, I would say between 1981-1984. Maybe a little newer?
Also, the color of the dash and seat backs, and the cup holders suggest this era. |

What is the serial number?? Should be on a sticker on the upper footboard below the dash. That'll tell us the year.

There were not stickers on a cart that old.
Somewhere on the frame there might be an ID tag with the serial number riveted on, but on a cart that old I wouldn’t know exactly where to look. No newer than 91 based on the body. There are no flares to the rear arches and there is no access panel cutout between the seats. That one is fiberglass and they stopped that about 92 if I remember right and switched to an all plastic body. Probably early to mid 80s. |

I'm with MC; I'm thinking late '80s based on the fiberglass body, no rear fender lip, 3 spoke sterring wheel and the color of the dash/ cubbies.

I have a stock 1982. I cannot find any difference between the 2. That does not mean yours is a 1982.
Mine does not have vice grips for a FNR handle.  |
