Default How to program speed code 4 with Curtis programmer?

Purchased a new Curtis 1313-4331. I was told you can program Speed Codes with it so maybe that should be my first question. Can you add speed code 4 with this model Curtis? If so, how do you do it? I have purchased the code from the Club Car dealer already. 2014 Club Car Precedent. Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

Yes you can program speed codes with that programmer...Usually a dealer has to do it for speed code 4...Club car sends the dealer 3 unlock codes based on the serial number of the cart..You have to go into the parameters menu of the programmer to enter the 3 codes under A, B and C...

After entering the codes, you must re-boot the controller by switching to TOW and then back to RUN.

Correct...Also be aware that if for some reason you go back to speed code 1, 2 or 3 and you go back to sc 4, you have to re-enter the codes again so don't lose them...

I have entered the 3 codes and then flipped to tow for 30 secs and back to run then the codes are gone and no option to enter the speed code 4 code from club car.

I think the second post speaks to code 4.

When I enter the 3 codes for A,B,C and then flip the switch to tow and back the codes I entered are gone from the programming screen and speed code 4 is not on the cart. It’s still speed code 3. Is there something you do after entering them before you flip the switch? There is not an enter button.

I sounds like you are following the correct procedure. It is normal for the A,B,C codes to revert to 256 after you reboot the controller. The controller should be at speed code 4. You could try selecting the speed code parameter an pushing the + button but, as I recall, it should upgrade automatically to 4.

Other possibilities:
1 The speed codes you were given were incorrect for that controller.
2 The programmer you are using does not have high enough access level to
change the code.

What is the full model number of the programmer you are using?
