Irregular Speed-2005 Precedent Professional

Good Afternoon,

I just purchased a 2005 48V Precedent from a private seller. The batteries are 2.5 years old and are fully charged.

The cart accelerates fine, to 13-15mph, but then will slow and feels "weak" to get back up to full speed. I do not think this is typical and have not felt this on other golf carts.

Any ideas of what it could be? I do plan on swapping out the motor magnet with a high speed magnet soon.
