Here is how the other side should look. Notice #1 terminal has nothing attached. This is where the wiper should be when off. #2 has the wiper and the #1 coil hooked to it.




Here it is with correct lables.

well maybe not i now have no wires going fron the soleniod to the back side of the wiper switch

okay i found the problem diconected the feed from the micro switch and still had full power to the motor with the key off then some thing did not look right - the soleniod was a ford 12 volt type replaced with the proper 36 volt one and problem is now gone thanks for all the help

There is a 100% failure rate in automotive solenoids placed in electric golf carts ... they are designed to make a momentary connection & Golf Cart (GC) solenoids are designed for a continuous connection = big difference in duty.
