Default Voltage Converter....How many amps?

I am looking to purchase a voltage converter for my 36v EZGO for the sole purpose of running my head lights. Will a 10 amp converter be enough?

Check the wattage of the bulbs. My headlights are 55 watts each, so that's 110 watts/12 volts or just under 10 amps.

Are you planning on installing a stereo, a power outlet, blinkers, brake lights, horn, etc. in the future?

I have absolutely know idea. They were installed sometime back and there is no amp or watt rating any where on the units. They were bought in one of the kits that was intended to be installed under the bumper of a car as fog lights.

Originally my answer was no, but a power outlet may not be a bad idea since this my hunting buggy. Maybe I should just go with the 25amp.

Where can I find a fuse block? Do the local auto parts stores have them?

Mine do, don't know about yours.

Also try Radio Shack.

Is yours mounted to the plastic, and bolted through the support bracket? The previous owner installed mine that way, and I had to reinstall it to insulate it. Apparently it didn't hurt mine, but you don't want to connect power to the frame.
