Steering shaft threads
I have a 1984 ds and I messed up the threads on the steering shaft trying to get my steering wheel off. Does any one know what size die I need to try to fix the threads?

Re: Steering shaft threads
. . . the best way to be certain is to either measure the threads with a thread gauge, call your local CC dealer, or take the nut to your local hardware store/auto parts store/Grainger store and have them measure it for you . . . my GUESS is 5/8-18
