Re: Need new batteries, hopefully charger works.
It seems relatively stable but I think sometimes the plug does not go in all the way, If I put tape on it, it might not go in all the time. Definitely need to replace the cart recep.

Re: Need new batteries, hopefully charger works.
I dunno how much they cost, but I'll bet they ain't cheap. Is it possible to remove and use fiberglass cloth and resin, or is it toast? Sometimes I go overboard, others I go cheap.

Re: Need new batteries, hopefully charger works.
Golf Cart King has new receptacles with no wiring for $52 and Bryant Golf Cars has used receptacles for $59 with wiring. Anybody deal with these companies or have an opinion on which option? Found them both on Ebay.
Thanks again! |

Re: Need new batteries, hopefully charger works.
Concur. Buy new. Your wiring should be fine and eliminate the reed switch if it comes with one. Just bypass it.

Re: Need new batteries, hopefully charger works.
Or maybe just replace both connections with SB50 plugs. Not as clean as original but much cheaper.
