Default Installing belt

Ordered a napa 6013 belt today, any tricks to installing it? I put one on my ezgo but I didn't know if this 01 CC was any different or not. Need to take time and look it over real good. Thanks

if its the starter belt and not the clutch belt it will be much easier if you can get a helper they are a real pain to get tight and keep tight...........clutch belt a peice of cake no tools needed..........................

With the key off, plug wire disconnected, wheels chocked, and shifter in neutral...
"Roll" the belt off of the driven (rear) clutch!

And while your at it... you might as well replace the S/G belt also!

lockman, don't you LOVE how that picture makes it look like you have all the room in the world to stuff your hands in there and take the belt off? gotta love that manual...

I like the way the book tells you to NOT put your fingers under the belt but plainly shows fingers that appear to be doing just the opposite.

I just changed it and no more room than you have it's a wonder your fingers don't end up under it.
