Default Convert TO pedal Start (wiring) 01 Turf 2

I have a 2001 Turf 2 gas that has been hacked on pretty good and missing the throttle switches and the wiring is a mess.

I’m trying to understand how the micro switches work so i can set the pedal back up. 1 switch closes contacts on the starter solenoid when the pedal is pressed and the other micro switch opens contacts on the kill switch when the pedal is pressed? When the pedal is released the kill contacts close? Does this mean that any time I’m driving the starter solenoid is energized? Is there another module that changes it from start mode to charge mode or is that internal to the generator?

I also need to install a key but that should be pretty simple if i can get past the micro switch wiring.

From the manual.......THE GENERATOR CIRCUIT (FIGURE 12-4)
The generator circuit consists of the starter/generator, voltage regulator, solenoid, the battery, and connecting wires.
When battery power is first supplied to the starter/generator, the starter/generator turns the engine at low RPM (approx. 700). Once the engine starts running, it then drives the starter/generator. At any engine RPM
over 1215 (3000 starter/generator RPM), the starter/generator functions as a generator, supplying charging current to the battery. To prevent battery overcharging, the voltage regulator senses battery voltage, and by
opening and closing an electronic switch, it controls the amount of charge going to the battery.

Here is a parts list for your cart. On page 6-6 you will find the electrical drawing.

Thank you, that it immensely helpful. That’s the clearest diagram I’ve seen yet. I believe i can piece it back together from that
