G16 main jet need larger
I am switching over to E85 and I need to swap main jet out to larger I need it to be 40% larger than stock what are the numbers to get me there. Don at plowmans wont be back till mid month so I cant reach him on the matter.

One option would be to measure the size of the existing jet, then open it up to the size that would give you a 40 % increase in area. To do that, you would measure the diameter of the existing hole, then increase that diameter by 18.5%. (example- If the jet was .060 dia, you would multiply that by 1.185 to yield a hole = .071 dia.) You can use an assortment of copper wires and micrometers to find the size of the existing jet. You will probably have to purchase a small letter size drill for opening the existing hole. Bigstik has the math correct. For a 40% increase in area... 18.5% is the number. To be sure... make sure you remove the jet before drilling/reaming. Good Luck
