2013 EZGo TXT Gas - Uphill & Seems loud
Hey everyone, First post here. I have been looking all over to see if I can find videos of similar carts driving around to see/hear how theirs is preforming. I just got a 2013 EZ Go TXT Gas cart with a rebuilt engine, and customized. Not lifted, just aftermarket rims/tires
So, my question is - I know gas carts are louder of course, but how loud. It seems at times it is much louder than it should be. It also seems like it doesnt shift at the right time, revs up and then will eventually shift. Is this somewhat normal? Going downhill, it is extremely loud, like it is rev matching/resisting - Is this normal? Other concern - My neighborhood does have some pretty steep hills, and I know carts arent really made to climb, but it seems some of these hiils lets say a 30% incline, it can barely make it up - Is this realistic performance? And lastly - It does not have a speedometer on it, I clocked it using Google Maps Speedometer, which I know is probably slightly off, but average 12-15 mph on flat ground, is this to be expected? I thought 20-25 was typically the norm. Wanted to get some realistic feedback before I dig too deep. Thank you |
