lithium discharge test
Hi all,
can you put a Lester discharge unit, designed for wet cell batteries, on a lithium 36 or 48 volt set? Would is damage the lithium BMS? or cell? And if you can, would the readings on the Lester unit be the same as if the batteries were a wet cell? Cheers Paul |

Re: lithium discharge test
it depends on what you are trying to accomplish.
Whatever you do, do not discharge below 3.0VDC per cell. under load. What kind of current is the Lester charger creating? is it just a resistor or something else? What is the battery C rating? I would limit to a 1C rating that might give you some useful information. |
