Re: Yamaha G8 Club - Please post!
I'm not sure what would have pushed this. The top of the blower scoop is 22", and some of the drifts were above it. The drive isn't that long and only took a couple of hours. Not hard work at all, just time comsuming. The blowing wind was the only problem. 1997 MTD, 8hp Tecumseh flathead. I'll get to the shop tomorrow

Re: Yamaha G8 Club - Please post!
I'm sure they have, but this the first winter we have spent any time here. I've seen more than this up in DC. We had 30+" during 1 storm in '95--that was BS--before snowblower--I bought it in Oct '96. Some years it never got used, but it sure comes in handy. Now my Mom has to find someone in the neighborhood to do her driveway.

Re: Yamaha G8 Club - Please post!
Is it "dry" or "wet" like most snow we get in the Northwest?

This snow was pretty dry. We were lucky.

Agree. If it was wet, we would have been in serious trouble. The wind is kicking up something fierce around here now. Sure there will be drifts in the morning.

Re: Yamaha G8 Club - Please post!
Dayum thats alot of snow. We have had a freezing rain and sleet mix the last couple of weeks. It shuts the whole dayum state down when it happens. The roads get covered in a sheet of ice and we arent equipped to deal with that stuff.
