Default G9 leaking oil

Are there any common areas that a G9 leaks oil or should I carry it in and have it checked out Our has a pretty bad leak and it is ruining our driveway. What would be the typical cost of a rebuild of one?

if it leaks that bad be shure to check the oil often, it only holds 1 quart,

it might just be the oil drain plug's gasket is bad, worst case is it has rubbed a hole into the crankcase from broken engine mounts.

Have to say I never seen one that leaked, but if you overfill they will pump your airbox full and it can leak.

If it is directly under the drain bolt, bad crush gasket or stripped theads, that can be fixed with a helicoil or just overdrill, tap and a new bolt and oversized gasket. Many J38 style engines have had "blown" side case gaskets at the area between the 2 bolts where the dip stick is located. The new case gaskets have sealant to stop that.
