3 inch lift question
I found 2 different spindle lift options locally, the Jakes and the RHOX. Is there really that much of a difference? The Jakes is $100 more?

Re: 3 inch lift question
I put the 3" Jakes on mine, not sure about the Rhox. I installed it without taking the body off. not too bad.

Re: 3 inch lift question
I am kind of forced to put the lift in. I have front tire rub when turning left and rear rub with 2 adults. I did notice the driver side seems to sit a bit closer to the tires than the passenger side without anyone on the cart. Could this just be a worn shock or what?

Re: 3 inch lift question
What kind of offset are your wheels? I don't have any problems with the 3" and the 22" tires. I just had to cut the rocker panels to clear the rear tires. You can kind of see in the pic

Re: 3 inch lift question
no lift installed yet. I was hoping to avoid the lift since this is my cart I use on the course. I think my offset is wrong but I spent lots of money on these and I cannot return them now. They are Fairway alloys elixir 12 inch wheels with the EFX prorider 215-50-12s on them. The front wheel rubs on the bottom of the body behind where the brake seats. The rear tires rub with people in the cart. Lack of clearance. I am hoping the 3 Inch lift will solve both problems since the kit also moves the front wheel forward an inch or so. I plan on adding a rear seat too so hopefully the 3 inch will help with this. I am going to put a bag holder on the back of the rear seat so we can take our kids out on the course and all ride on the cart. they are only 6 and 7 so they shouldn't be an issue weight wise for now.

Re: 3 inch lift question
yeah I see that you are quite low. The lift does help for that, but the height for the rear seat will be higher. FYI, but you knew that

Re: 3 inch lift question
I would do a rhox. The jakes 3in is a 2-piece and hurts your turning radius. The 3in rhox is the same style as the jakes 6in. The rhox is just as good as the jakes just not as nice of a finish and a plain triangle drop bracket.

Re: 3 inch lift question
Thats true about the turning radius of the 3" jakes. Takes lots of grinding on the jakes to get the cart to turn close to the way the 6" lift does. If i had known about the turning radius i would have got the rhox.
