Balance problems occur with series connected batteries, not parallel. If wired correctly, parallel connected batteries will share the current almost equally.

Parallel connected batteries may not share current equally but they will stay at the exact same total voltage. Current sharing depends on Internal Resistance which may not be equal if the batteries are not exactly equal.

I was assuming same batteries, such as the Allied or Epoch kits. With the positive and negative taken from opposite ends of the parallel bank then current should be fairly equal.

The only issue I see with unequal currents would be tripping the BMS on the one with the higher current. If the batteries are equal in age, capacity, mfg tolerances then currents will share pretty much equally. But if you for example bought two now and another a couple years from now to up your capacity, you could run into problems.
