07 Yamaha G-29
Ok rebuilt the motor, ordered new clutches, installed the "pulling" clutch (not sure the right term for it), but it is the clutch in the front. For some reason the back clutch will not fit, is this normal (I'm sure it's not LOL)
Also, when you mash the pedal to take off it jerks. Any help Thanks |

Re: 07 Yamaha G-29
If you ordered new clutches you most likely got the new style updated clutch. Will need the extra hardware like spacers and bolt to make it work.

Re: 07 Yamaha G-29
If you got the new JW8 FBT Driven clutch it is about 7/16” smaller in diameter and the top opening is 1-1/4” wide. The JW1 belt that worked on the old style clutches is now too narrow and too long. You will need the J55-G6241-00-00 belt, 1-1/4” wide and shorter.
