Re: No Click
If it is a series cart (Series wound motor), the most likely suspect is the reed switch.
If it is a PDS cart (Sepex motor), the most likely suspect is the controller. |

Re: No Click
Thanks for your reply, it is a series cart, so what and where is the reed switch?

You may have blown a fuse.

Ezgo Reed Switch Bypass.jpg IF your cart still won't charge or the solenoid won't click.....you have a problem in the solenoid activation circuit....which is highlighted in the diagram below....just find the fault. Wiring Diagram Series with Solenoid Activation Traced.JPG |

Depending upon which side of the ignition switch you shorted out, look at the ms on the driver side of the F&R switch (incoming side) or the pedal box micro switch (output side) Hope this helps |

Re: No Click
Success! finally after 3 weeks of research, questions and frustration I found the problem. it was in the solenoid activation circuit where the green wire plugs into another green wire, I unplugged it plugged it back in and it works! after testing every switch, wire and connection it was that stupid plug, thanks for all your help i followed all advice and finally sorted it out!
