Default Roof

Fellas I took the roof and windshield off my 98 ds when I bought the cart. My question is I'm looking to build som sort of windshield with a roof and a rack and I would love it to be made out of aluminum. Does anyone know what I would need for specs for the windshield to fit a custom cage. Just not sure where to start... Thanks TJ

If you can weld aluminum EMT take a look at a thread titled "Jeep Rollbar".

I built this one a few years ago out of 1.5 inch aluminum tubing. Its got a piece of diamond plate for the roof that was powder coated. I bougtha piece of lexan and cut it in half so it folds down just like the factory one. sorry , windshield in off in the pics

pics of back seat where the roof attaches, roof is removeable. I put sleeves in the rear to allow for quick removal.

I forgot I got a catalog from U.S. Plastic Corp. They have the replacement hinge plastic for the fold down windshields and all kinds of plastic glazing.
