Help with reversing contactor.
I have an older bad boy buggy, I don't know if the reversing contactor I need is a 12V, 24V, or 48V. The only thing I can identify on it is 400A.
I do know it is a Albright SW202 type. Anyone know what voltage I need? |

Re: Help with reversing contactor.
Should be the same as the pack voltage for your cart..

Re: Help with reversing contactor.
That's what I was thinking but when I look at the pictures of the item online, it doesn't match the part I have. The 12V and the 72V RC's do though. I know I shouldn't always go by the pictures but, that is why I want to make sure before I purchase one.

Re: Help with reversing contactor.
A SW202 can be ordered in most of the standard voltages for carts. Only difference is the coil voltage except on the 72 volt because it has some safety features built in. Which one do you need ?

Re: Help with reversing contactor.
I'm thinking I need the 48V because that is the size of my pack. I can't find a parts list for the BBB, so I'm not real sure.

Re: Help with reversing contactor.
If the cart works at all you could put a volt meter on the leads controlling the RC coils and see what voltage it is sending to it. There also may be a sticker on the solenoid somewhere..

Re: Help with reversing contactor.
If the cart is operational You can put the handheld voltmeter test leads on the small posts of the contactor and get a voltage reading when you press the pedal to go. (key on & in gear.

Re: Help with reversing contactor.
Uh huh. The activation coils can be any of the available voltages.
