Question 1996 TXT Body Removal

Hey guys,

Plan to do some painting/touching up of my golf cart body.

Watched a few videos, and it seems the whole thing is pretty much just riveted on.

How many people skip rivets when re-installing and use bolts?

The rivets really are the best fasteners for the Ezgo body. Ezgo sells a body rivet kit for the re-install.

Harbor Freight offers a pneumatic unit for about $30 - mine has been working great for years.

one thing to remember, there are a Four 1/4" rivets, so ensure you get one that will handle that size. all the theres are smaller.

Now I think the wife is trying to persuade me to just tape it up.

Being a rough neighborhood cart, I may consider it. Then they could still use it in between coatings, etc.
