foam gasket
Can any CC guru tell me what thickness [approx] of closed cell foam "weatherstripping" was on a 81 DS under the body to keep dirt from being thrown onto the batteries? Mine is reduced to dust. It seals the rear wheelwells from the battery area. Also did 81s have inside fenders to help keep mud/sh#$/salt from splashing up on the motor? Thanks. Merrill
