Re: King Pins and Bushings
The front and rear shocks were ordered and replaced at different times, so the front and rears should not be switched.

Re: King Pins and Bushings
OK, so I jacked my cart up today and used a board to move the suspension up and down and the kingpin bushings are actually in pretty good shape. While I was under there, I discovered this:

Re: King Pins and Bushings
I think that's a tow hook for pulling a string of carts.

I agree.
I have one like it on my DS and I said the same thing when I was doing the front end. |

That is a pic I found from this time last year, before the new shocks were installed on the front. This pretty much confirms that the shocks are causing the issue, and not any of the bushings. |

Re: King Pins and Bushings
Update: Buggies Unlimited sent me a new set of shocks to try. Their tech said I could have just gotten a bad set from the factory that were over charged and just far too stiff to ever seat in. I put the new ones on last Thursday and it is worse now then it was. I rode the cart hard all weekend and they haven't settled in any as of yet. I called back this morning and spoke to their tech again and he said to ride the cart everyday for two weeks and from his experience these shocks should seat in within that amount of time, but I am skeptical about it . I wonder if I should just order the OEM shocks from Yamaha ? I would put my old ones back on but I scrapped them and they are long gone now.
