Be careful when buying tires if You are going to go with a 10" rim - You will want a minimum of 4-ply (better=6) or the sidewall flex will likely come into play. The smaller rims/big tire combo's are definitely a bit more forgiving off-road, but they are generally pretty "bouncy" and definitely not the most stable setup in corners when run at lower pressures. You'll likely want to play w tire pressure to find the right balance between stability and compliance if You go with a smaller rim. More sidewall = more flex and less stability, most of our customers who try and save a buck putting 22's or 23's on an 8 or 10" rim almost always come back and step up to a 12" rim with a good-quality tire.
