Default 99 txt 36 dcs

I have a 1999 DCS TXT. It came to me going fine down a flat road but will not go up any kind of incline. I have replaced the motor, the controller - with a stock 9 pin and when that did not work an aftermarket upgrade controller, the ITS, and the F/R limit switches. Still no change. I have gone thru the EZGO DCS troubleshooting guide and did all my voltage reads. That all checked out to spec. What am I missing? Thanks.

Seems a bit late with all of the $ you've spent on upgrades, but what is the condition of your batteries? Do you have a reading 12 hrs after charge? And, have you had a meter on them while going up a good grade?

You should probably post what motor and controller you added as well.

Give us a battery voltage reading under load like full pedal up hill when it is going slow.

new batteries Crown CR-205 - I took out the upgrade controller I got from FSIP 51-FX503G023K 500 amp w/adapter harness and put the stock back in. The motor was a stock rebuild from my local dealer. I have not measured the voltage going up hill yet. I will post when I do. Thanks.

you might look at individual battery voltages under load as well....recently i have seen a few post about the same symptoms where a new battery was breaking down under load...they were warrantied by the manufacturer...

What size tires are you running?

What gauge High current cables?

Are any of the cables getting hot?

22's - 4ga - nothing abnormally warm except some of the 18ga wires going to the 9 pin controller are REALLY warm. I noticed that yesterday. I'm suspecting a short somewhere in that main harness. I will tear into that this week-end.
