Yamaha 16E suddenly not running
I rode the cart last Friday, no issues. Saturday morning, it wouldn't run. When I put it in reverse, I could hear a hum, but it wouldn't engage. Did the same in forward. Tested the 6V batteries and all but 1 was fully charged. The one not fully charged registered 4.7. I am not well versed in repairs but not afraid to try some of your advice. Does thus sound like a motor, speed controller, or solenoid issue? The fwd/rev switch looks good. Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Yamaha 16E suddenly not running
Most likely is not enough voltage out of the battery pack and/or a bad cell in the low battery causing lack of capacity/not letting enough amps flow. If it turns the wheels in the air but not on the ground, for example. Regardless you should start diagnostics having all 6 batteries good.

Re: Yamaha 16E suddenly not running
I bet that 4.7 turns into "nothing" under load. The whole pack is limited by the worst battery .
