Default I think I killed my Alltrax SPM 400

So like the title states I think I killed my controller. I power washed my 1998 TXT to get it ready for deer season after getting batteries all charged up and watered. Prior to washing it, everything was great it ran awesome and then after power washing it I have nothing. No LED light on the controller, no clicking, not a thing. Checked connections let it dry, it’s been over a month since it was washed. I’m at a loss, I’m hoping it’s something other than the controller. I have searched the forum but have been unsuccessful in finding answers. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Fair warning I’m still a newb and lay person when it comes to golf carts, although I did the upgrades with a lot of help from JohnnieB and ScottyB.

Voltage readings at the controller B+ & B- terminals? Voltage at "pin 1" (the one of the 3 spade terminals that are not the white & black ITS wires)?

The SPM has four pins for the control wires. Either four spade terminals, or the standard six pin molex with four pins loaded (SPM with EZ suffix). In either case it is the red wire.

The voltage source for the red wire is the reed switch, or reed switch bypass.
Then it goes through MS-2 on the F/R assembly.
Then it goes through the keyswitch.
Then it goes through the Pedal switch.
Then it goes to the solenoid coil.
Then it finally ends up at the controller.

Get the voltage on the red wire at the controller and the LED ought to come on. if B- is connected to controller.

Let it dry out in the sun and it may start working again - if nothing smoked. As you found out - power washing is a bad idea. There are too many places that water can get into that can cause problems on a cart. They are not very well designed for wet environments.

Maybe the infamous Molex connector? My cart wouldn't run after washing it with the garden hose till it dried out, let alone a pressure washer?

Go ahead and do that. Poke the bear, then tell us how it worked out. Best use the garage.

Thanks guys sorry for not replying been a busy week at work. Cart is at the ranch but I’ll check the voltage. It’s been outside and unfortunately I haven’t had a chance to get it due to the significant amount of rain we have gotten here in TX. I will watch the video and see if it works. If not I’ll report what I find.
