Default Subwoofer behind TXT seat

I know some have mounted 8 inch Bazooka tubes between the front and back seats. My supports measure 18 inches at the narrowest point and the tubes measure 19 inches. I don't see how they fit? Anyone with a sub setup in that area willing to share some information? What do you have and how does it fit. Would prefer the powered Bazooka tube but there must be something I am missing bc I see pics of installs on here.

You can't fit a 9" tube inside 18" clear space?

This is what I want to do but my TXT doesn't seem to have the notched supports this user has. I think I can make their 6 inch model work though but it will be tight. I had hoped for at least an 8" but at this point any added bass over the 6.5's I have in my dash is a plus. I wish I still had my old marine 8" tube as I am tempted to buy one and just hack an inch off of it.

Wonder if they went custom PVC water pipe and just made
adapters to fit the woofers ?

I see the port on those.

No those are factory bazooka tubes according to the OP I borrowed the pic from. His seat supports just seem to have a notch that mine do not which allows for the 19" tube from the 8" woofer model. I am going to measure a few more times and then likely go with the powered 6" model. I have used the Bazooka products before on my boat before I changed out to all JL audio. The enclosures and mounts are nice but IMHO the speakers only lasted 2-3 years on my boat but it was in saltwater 24/7 and sat a lot collecting humidity. The JL 10 I have in there now using the JL enclosure is a beast.

I formerly did installs of audio equipment
at a factory upfitter and then a big box store.

Had a customer come in and buy Fosgate 6 1/2"s
for the front doors and they wanted the JLs thrown
in the garbage can.

Needless to say I fished them out after they left and
used them on a project I had many years ago.

Dela, you mounted that underneath the rear seat, right? Did you mount it bolted to the seat bottom or in the bagwell with the sub facing forward or some other mounting?

SigFLA45, I mounted two Blaupunkt 6.5" facing forward in the space between the front/rear seats. I made a box with a triangular cross section and it sits in there quite nicely, sounds pretty good and is very loud. I just need a sub, which Dela may have solved for me...
