I had the same problem.... I put 6 pumps of tire SLIME in them per tire.....no more problems. Make sure you get the tire slime and not the tube slime unless you have tubes in them.

If you want to cut the tire apart to mount new ones. You will never get the bead broken.

I just had a "micro bubble leak" on my truck tire. Micro leaks are often the case with alloy wheels which don't "rust" but still "corrode". These leaks are often found on the bead sealing areas.

My leak was "around" the valve stem itself (but not through the valve stem).

Some dish soap and water and a little time later, and the leak path was clearly shown from the foam (bubbles) that formed. This particular winter tire leaked from 75 psi to 40 psi over an 8 month period ... a very small leak but still a PITA.

I too have had luck using tire "slime" for fixing leaks in "low speed" tires. You are not supposed to use it as a permanent fix in "high speed" tires due to balance concerns. I have heard too that tire repair guys don't like having to deal with the mess created when they repair or change tires.

Always try to find the leak if you can, but I've had good luck with the Green Slime. Especially in riding mower tires. Follow the directions and don't skimp. I buy it by the gallon (or is it a half gallon?) and keep an empty container with water to flush out the pump.

Many times a slow leak can be around the rim bead and tire. Especially on low psi tires.
I have dismounted tires and cleaned rim with wire brush to remove rust then apply light coat of grease to rim where tire bead seats to seal very slow leaks.

I'm thinking it's probably the bead not seating well. Could be around the valve stem like ThreeCW posted. Actually didn't think about that. If these remedys don't fix it, I'll try the slime.

That's for the help.

If tires are old could have dry rot causing a leak then best to buy new putting a tube in it is half the cost of new if it’s a 8 inch tire.

Tubes are a great way of getting more life out of a leaking tire used in low speed applications. Good thinking Batman

If you have a foot tub or storage bin or anything similar, take it outside, fill with water, remove wheel from golf cart and put it in the water to see where the leak is. It'd be a shame to dump a bunch of slime in there when it may be something as simple as needing a new schrader valve. If you have a nail, plug the nail. If you have a bad valve, replace the valve. But if you have a rim leak from pitted aluminum, then slime is a good way to go.

I don't like the slime for the other purposes because it makes a mess when you dismount the tire later and it gets everywhere. my $0.02
