F/R Lever hard to move

My 2000 TXT 36 V F/R lever is hard to move back and forth. I've lubricated all the linkage but it hasn't helped much. What am I missing?

think there is a fwd/reverse switch you have to replace witch is easy I did one on a previous 2002 ezgo

Make sure the center nut on the F/R switch isn't too tight. I did that once when I put it back together after disassembly.

You can use a popsicle stick (coffee stir stick) to spread dielectric grease on the contacts and work it in between the contacts.

I just went with a reversing contact switch from ScottyB.

THAT will make the F&R easier to switch
