Default 2003 EZGO TXT 36v

Hello all. I am trying to make an old golf cart cool again. I have removed the. body and painted it to match my truck. Came out great for me being a novice. However I had a snafu that will most likely cost me. As I was cleaning up I dropped the end of my air hose and because the body is removed the coupling landed on my golf cart motor resulting in the rear bottom terminals arcing. Now nothing works. I can’t find any fuses so I can only assume I fried something expensive. Any ideas?

sounds like you arced between the field and armature winding. That might not be good. does your cart have the F/R switch in the dash? Does the reverse buzzer work?

Is a motor test appropriate? I believe I saw that on this forum somewhere and to only use 18 volts to do it.

Check the red wire/reed switch coming out of the back side of the carts charge receptacle small red wire , and see if it has pack volts?
