Default Towing with 48v CC

So I have a stock 2004 CC DS 48v. Before I spend the money on a hitch, would this cart be ok to tow a jet ski around our campground? Total weight would be around 800-900lbs. Thanks in advance

You didn't state if this is a series or sepex cart (sorry I don't know by year which is which) or whether your campground is hilly or flat. If it's a series cart on a flat campground, I would think you'd be OK. But stay away from hills including boat ramps.

Of course, the gurus may tell me I'm full of it.

My cart is sepex and the campground is fairly flat. There are a couple small hills but nothing too steep or long.

Let’s look at it this way if you had a four seater cart with four adults onboard at 200 lbs each it equals 800 lbs. Which a lot of us do all the time with no problem running around the camp ground or club. So towing a 800 pound trailer on relativity flat ground is no problem.

Your pulling rolling weight so as long as your cables are at least 4ga and in good shape and no jackrabbit starts you should be good.
