Default 2008 Precedent speed sensor?

I have a 2008 Precedent, serial number PQ0818-903298.

I believe it needs a new speed sensor.

I've read a few threads that indicate that there are two different options. I know I can pull the rear passenger wheel to get a look, but before I do that, is there any chance an early 2008 (not 2008.5) has a known motor, or is it random and might be either type? I'm just being lazy and would prefer to order the right sensor, then take off the wheel once just to replace it.

You don't need to take the wheel off to see it.

A 2008 Precedent would have the ADC motor from the factory. Sensor part number 102704901. But you still need to look. Someone could have swapped in the old GE motor at some point in the life of the cart and it would still run fine.

Looks like it indeed is a GE motor. Why would someone swap in the older style? Oh well, time to get to work.

Because the original probably failed and this is all they had laying around.
