Default brakes 2012 drive

Hi all, I have 2012 gas, with transaxle brake. to my disappointment, no adjustment on cable, but the elect carts do it appears by reading and the parts picks. I thought I would try to change the cable before I jumped into the transaxle, I have to funny sounds, just way to much loose pedal, and not enough pull. I am hoping I have a stretched cable? thoughts? thanks so much in advance.

Well, the adjustment is at the brake pedal end of the cable. And if its maxed on adjustment, you can try a cable. Doing a brake job on that axle is expensive & labor intensive.

the gas cable on mine and from what I have found available has no adjustment.
the elect. carts do have a nut for adjustment. Weird. I understand changing the brake is a expensive pain, anyone have success with just the cable?

So the brakes in the transaxle last a long time, that's the good news.
Where im at most shops made the mistake on a service of adjusting the brake cable, which really didn't need to be done.
By doing this
It induced cable stretch, which had they just left it alone the cable would have lasted years.

Yamaha came out with a thicker cable as a replacement.
Id try the cable first too because misadjustment was such a common issue
