Default Battery help

I have a EZ GO PDS 36 volt and the batteries are reading 88 volts pack and 13.7 each. My controller is fried and new one just came in and found this. Please help.

did someone put 6 12 volt batteries in it . how many cap holes are on the top of each battery. there should 3 for a 6 volt , 4 for an 8 volt and 6 for a 12 volt .

Yeah there the same batts. Thinking my charger is overcharging somehow. Power wise charger.

13.7x6=82.2, not 88. The math doesnt add up here, try a different test meter.

Yeah the first thing I would suggest here is changing the batteries in your multimeter...
