Default OEM or Not

Ordered a OEM rxv brake and received a Reliance part number 8207.
Is this an OEM brake and ok to use or is it one of the brakes that draws to much power?

This brake is silver not black,

I think the Reliance brake is a OEM replacement, not really OEM. Recommendation on here is to use real OEM only.

Just read an old post, Part of BobBoyce reply stated "The OEM motor brake has a typical impedance of 25.5 ohms and the HD motor brake has a typical impedance of 21 ohms, measured with an ohmmeter."
The Brake I just received measures just over 26 ohms so Does that mean it is OEM ?

As far as i know, Reliance offers a replacement part for the oem brake and a HD version, which should never be used. So If you can trust that brand, it should work.

ps. It would be great, If you're using the Reliance brake, to give a short feedback how it works!

We installed the Reliance brake with no problems. Impedance measured 26 ohms. Functions as it should. If we continue to have a brake issue I'll let you know what we find.
