2006 Ez GO just stops after riding for short time
I have a 2006 Ez go 36v with new batteries, solenoid, and controller. Was doing the same thing before adding the new controller and solenoid. Will have it fully charged and ride around for a short period of time, then stops. I can sometimes disconnect the batteries and connect them again to make it run for a bit.
Is there something in the motor that will cause this to happen? |

With golf carts all things are possible. I would suggest you measure the battery voltage when the cart slows just to eliminate a problem with the battery and interconnections. Be sure the charger is properly charging the batteries. If you keep disconnecting batteries to get it to go you risk causing other problems.

So disconnected the controller again and plugged it back in and runs then stops and unable to drive it anymore. Solenoid clicks as it should. The one small post on the solenoid stays a negative even thought there is a diode on it?
All wires are tight and nothing that I can tell is causing anything to short out. |

Also, batteries are at 38v and doesn't drop after the cart dies.

The forum needs more information.
What controller? What tires? What battery? Stock controllers can go into thermal shutdown when they get hot. Some lithium batteries go into lockout when they exceed their safe operating parameters |
